Assistive Technology
This service provides assistive technology (AT) evaluations, consultation, planning, training, and resources to support students in meeting their IEP goals. We offer hardware, software, and adaptive tools, along with technical support and training for school staff and families.
We also collaborate with specialists in speech-language pathology, vision, and occupational and physical therapy, to ensure appropriate AT solutions.

- Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC): Go-Talks, PECS, SymbolStix, Design Overlays, Medicaid-funded device trials
- Alternate Access: Switches, alternate keyboards, pointing devices, touch screens, speech recognition software
- Software Supports:
- Access tools (switch, hot keys, touch)
- Early concepts (colors, shapes, letters, numbers)
- Literacy (auditory & visual feedback for reading/writing)
- Math support
- iPads for Trial: Available for AAC, Alternate Access, and Software Access
