Celebrating Our ESY Summer Camp Community!

Celebrating Our ESY Summer Camp Community!
As our Extended School Year (ESY) Summer Camp comes to a close, we are looking forward to celebrating a wonderful summer of learning, friendship, fun, and memorable experiences at our ESY Open House this Friday!
First and foremost, we want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our entire ESY educational staff. To our teachers, teaching assistants, related service providers, support staff, and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make this summer successful—thank you!
Your dedication, patience, creativity, compassion, and commitment to our students made an incredible difference. The time and energy you invested in creating meaningful learning experiences, encouraging participation, celebrating accomplishments, and helping each student feel supported did not go unnoticed. You are truly valuable members of our educational community, and we are so impressed by the difference you made in the lives of our students this summer. Your work is a wonderful reminder of the impact caring and dedicated educators can have.
We would also like to sincerely thank the many community members and local organizations who helped make this summer so special for our students. Their generosity, time, talents, and support created additional opportunities for our students to learn, explore, connect, and enjoy being together.
A special thank-you to:
Deputy Chris Ellinwood for sharing his time and experiences with our students.
New York State Police Trooper Frank DeNoto and K9 Rory for an exciting and educational K9 demonstration.
Deb Johnston and Poppy’s Ice Cream Truck for helping make the summer a little sweeter.
Perform 4 Purpose for sharing their talents and creating an engaging experience for our students.
We are also incredibly grateful to the local businesses and restaurants that generously donated food for our Activity Day Picnic:
Mr. Pizza, Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, Domino’s, Mamma Maria New York Pizzeria, Parker’s Grille, Springside Inn, Curley’s, and Lewis’ Restaurant.
Your generosity helped make our Activity Day a special celebration for everyone involved. We are grateful for the way our Auburn community and surrounding area continue to support our students and our programs.
To our ESY staff, students, families, volunteers, community partners, and donors—thank you for making this summer one to remember! Together, you helped create a summer filled with learning, laughter, new experiences, and opportunities for our students to shine.
We look forward to celebrating everyone at our ESY Open House this Friday!
