Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES

Sixteen participants recently completed Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Schools (TCIS) training- four intensive days of learning how to use active listening, crisis co-regulation, and life space interviewing to help others deescalate and develop coping skills. The latest cohort of TCIS trainees includes team members from across the region, representing six school districts as well as several regional school resource officers.
