WHAT MAKES eLEARNING SPECIAL?

Virtual learning with the eLearning Academy is special because they offer a virtual learning environment coupled with support and guidance of an eLearning specialist. 

An eLearning specialist is a certified NYS teacher and virtual educational liaison. They guide students through their virtual learning experience starting with an orientation and continuing through course completion. An eLearning specialist establishes regular communication with students either in person or through digital communication. Through regular contact, they are able to monitor student needs and adjust their learning experience accordingly. eLearning specialists pride themselves on personalizing students’ educational experiences by empowering student learning and fostering student engagement. 

As eLearning specialists, they provide schools with progress reports and work closely with students, home districts, parents/guardians, and course instructors in order to maximize student success. These lines of communication implement a positive and rewarding virtual learning community.
