Seven Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES students took home top three honors in their respective contests at the 2025 New York State SkillsUSA Competition. The competition was held from Wednesday, April 23 through Friday, April 25 at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse.
The following students placed:
Michael Georgi (Auburn)- Information Technology Services- 1st Place
Tyler Langdon (Weedsport), Madison Leonard (Jordan-Elbridge), Modena Phillips (Port Byron)- Criminal Justice Quiz Bowl- 1st Place
Jacob Lighthall (Cato-Meridian)- Cabinetmaking- 2nd Place
Elizabeth McLain (Cato-Meridian)- Small Engine Service, Basic- 2nd Place
Lillian Miller (Moravia)- Baking & Pastry Arts- 2nd Place
