On Tuesday, December 17th, Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES Culinary Arts seniors visited the Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Verona, NY. They had the opportunity to tour the kitchens and dining rooms of multiple restaurants, including ones that feature everyday fare to high-end, award-winning restaurants with dynamic panoramic views.
Students learned about a variety of culinary practices, as well as career opportunities that provide a vast learning experience with growth potential. They also toured the Gingerbread Village display, which highlighted numerous cake decorating techniques.
