Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES

Coordination of the Community Schools CoSer builds and strengthens partnerships between service providers in our communities and the component school districts and to ensure that students academic, medical, social and emotional needs are met. Through this service, participating districts will also have access to in-district support of a Behavior Excellence Coach, as well as regional training opportunities designed to build staff capacity in providing comprehensive student supports. Coordination of these resources help to integrate supports into our component schools thus removing barriers to student learning.

Community Schools Resources will provide for students social, emotional, physical, and intellectual needs through the following services: 

• Shared Medical Director
• Behavioral Excellence Coach Services
• Universal Social-Emotional Screening
• Mental Health Professional Development Trainings
