The Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES main campus was abuzz with celebration on Wednesday, May 14th, as more than 70 Career and Technical Education students were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS). The organization recognizes the important attributes of leadership, service, citizenship, responsibility, honesty, skill, knowledge, and scholarship.

“As we welcome these inductees into the National Technical Honor Society, we celebrate more than just academic accomplishments- we recognize the countless hours of hard work, the resilience of facing challenges, and the unwavering commitment to personal and professional growth,” said CTE Principal Scott Bradley.

Bradley and NTHS advisor Kelly Bryant commended the inductees on their achievements. Current officers lit candles to signify each attribute, then each inductee was called up to receive their cords, a certificate, and a flower.

The purpose of the organization is to build and maintain an even stronger and more positive image for CTE programs and schools throughout the local community and nation.
