Heavy Equipment Repair and Operation
In the Heavy Equipment Repair & Operation Program, students will learn entry-level skills needed in today’s construction industry. Instruction and experience are provided in shop management, equipment repair and operation, and Class A & B truck driving. Learn to operate and repair loaders, dozers, graders and backhoes. Additional information about transit work, road & foundation layouts and measurements are included. Students who demonstrate good mechanical aptitude and like working outside in all types of weather will be successful in this program. A solid background in reading and math work is strongly recommended.
