The primary goal of Technical Services is the repair and service of audio-visual equipment, computers and related peripherals that are used at the nine component school districts, and at BOCES

Technical Services repairs a wide range of equipment, ranging from film strip projectors to computers, and nearly everything else in between. Most equipment can be repaired at the BOCES campus. On some occasions equipment can be sent out to a third party or an Original Equipment Manufacture ( OEM ) for repair.

In addition to repairs and servicing of equipment, Technical Services can order new or used replacement items for equipment, and some service parts for school districts. We can custom make most specialized A/V and network cables.

In addition, we have most computer and A/V cables in stock for quick delivery to schools. Technical Services can also offer advice on purchases of new equipment such as: LCD projectors, overhead projectors, cassette tape recorders, etc.

The Technical Services Department also supplies overhead projector bulbs, fresnel lenses, computer parts, LCD projector replacement lamps, replacement hard disk drives, etc., to the 7 districts.
