Recently, Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES Criminal Justice Instructor Al Pola was invited to be the guest speaker at a luncheon hosted by the Cayuga County Bar Association.
Held as part of the Bar Association’s Law Day, the topic of the luncheon was “The Separation of Powers.” Pola brought four seniors from the criminal justice program to the event, as well:
  1. Abigail Ekross (Jordan-Elbridge)
  2. Emily Weller (Weedsport)
  3. Kole Sovocool (Moravia)
  4. Nathaniel Williams (Moravia)
These students were invited on the merit of their strong academic showing throughout the year's Criminal Justice classes.

In recognition of being the guest speaker for the luncheon, Pola was presented with a framed print of the original Cayuga County Courthouse.
