CTE students place in regional SkillsUSA competition

Recently, Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES students from the Career & Technical Education (CTE) Program took part in a regional SkillsUSA competition, held at Morrisville State College.

SkillsUSA is a national membership association that serves high school students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical, and skilled service occupations. It is a partnership of students, teachers and industry professionals working together to ensure that America has a skilled workforce, through the development of personal, workplace, and technical skills that are grounded in academics.

This year, BOCES brought 35 CTE students to the regional competition on Feb. 2. The following students placed at the event, and will be moving on to the state competition held from Apr. 25-27 at the New York State Fairgrounds:
