CTE Programs Compete for Charity

This December, students from multiple Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs competed in the Warmer Winter Drive. Organized by the school’s National Technical Honor Society, the competition tasked students with donating hats, gloves, and toiletries, all of which would be given to the Cayuga-Seneca Community Action Agency.

In all, 16 different CTE programs joined the competition. By the end, students from the Heavy Equipment Repair & Operation program contributed the most items, earning themselves a pizza party in the process.

All told, students contributed over 500 items for charity. A special thank-you to students Jimmy Thurston, Emily Wood, Graig Hobart, Cashmere Addison, and Hannah Shaw for helping organize the drive!
