First LEGO League Qualifying Tournament at CO BOCES

Eight teams from four school districts participated in the First LEGO League Qualifying Tournament at Cayuga-Onondaga (CO) BOCES on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017. First LEGO League gives elementary and middle school students and their adult coaches the opportunity to work together to solve a common problem, as well as design and build a robot using a LEGO kit with a common set of rules. The following districts were represented at the all-day event:

  • Weedsport Central School District
Congratulations to all of the teams!  Teams Gizmos & Gadgets and Herman Robo Hawks earned Advancement Certificates and will move forward to compete at the Finger Lakes First LEGO League Regional Championship at the University of Rochester on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017.
