Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES provides Hurricane Harvey relief to Texas classroom

The Compass Program at Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES recently paired up with a school in Texas to provide Hurricane Harvey victims with school supplies and toiletry items. Students from Mrs. Butcher’s Career and Tech class at Dickinson High School were hit hard by Hurricane Harvey, but the Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES community has stepped in to help. School supplies and toiletry items have been pouring in from teachers and students throughout BOCES. We will continue to accept donations until September 29. School supplies, particularly pens, pencils, notebooks and one-inch binders are needed as well as toiletry items such as soap, deodorant, shampoo, etc. We are also accepting Amazon gift cards to give to Mrs. Butcher for additional items she may need. Please contact Mrs. Ponto in the Compass Program with any questions. It is truly amazing how our community comes together to help other communities in need. Our Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES is clearly a school with heart!
