Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES student succeeds at the NYS SkillsUSA Conference
A Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES student earned second place at the 2017 NYS SkillsUSA Conference. The annual event took place April 26-28 at the NYS Fairgrounds in Syracuse. Sabrina Carroll, Weedsport High School, is a student in CO BOCES' Construction and Building Trades Program, and placed second in Carpenter's Assistant.
Meghan Ragucci and Melisa Vormwald are the advisors of CO BOCES' chapter of SkillsUSA. The pair brought 19 students to compete in the conference.
The New York Association of SkillsUSA is a Career Technical Student Organization serving students in high school and college post-secondary. SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers, and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce.
