The Model Schools service provides districts with professional development and support for Technology Planning and Implementation processes.
  • Technology Planning – help districts and teachers to plan and design effective learning environments and experiences supported by technology.
  • Curriculum Development – teachers implement curriculum plans that include methods and strategies for applying technology to maximize student learning.
  • Staff Development – teachers demonstrate a sound understanding of technology operations and concepts.  Train and support teachers in technologies that promote effective instruction and integration of technology and communication technology across all content areas.  Identify and explore new technologies which facilitate the delivery of instruction to meet the needs of diverse student populations. Promote professional communication and /staff/curriculum development through technology.
  • Evaluation – teachers apply technology to facilitate a variety of effective assessment and evaluation. Assess the needs and provide staff development strategies and programs which most effectively train teachers to integrate technology into curriculum that aligns with school improvement plans.
