Goals and Objectives:

The New Visions Teacher Education Preparation program has the following goals:
* Provide instruction in developing a variety of teaching strategies.
* Prepare students for the rigors of college academics
* Foster personal responsibility
* Develop and refine oral and written communication skills
* Encourage personal and professional growth
* Coach students through a variety of field experiences Pre-K – College, in rural, Auburn, and urban settings
* Utilize the community as a resource
* Cultivate an environment for success
* Nourish the thirst for learning
* Promote teaching as both a vocation and an avocation
* Nurture the desire to become a teacher
* Stretch students’ intellectual and comfort levels
